Kal has over 10 years in management of security, people, and other assets. From graduating with a strong academic background in criminal justice, psychology, and homeland security, he began his pursuit of safety with the establishment of SOS in 2020 with a focus on security consultation and safer drone operation in Texas. Today, under the leadership of Kal, SOS is utilizing and advancing the future of safety and emergency management technology.

Established in 2020 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, SOS is a comprehensive safety, security, and emergency management company serving clients throughout Texas. Can I use SOS for non-security related drone work?
Yes! We are a safety and emergency managment company that provides a variety of drone flight services. We support Realtors, property owners, business professionals, and private citizens alike. Whether you need aerial images for inspections, looking to improve your real estate listings, in need of security consulting, or a wedding photographer - SOS is here to provide safe, compliant, and easy aerial imagery services. How quickly can I get aerial images from SOS?
Most of our aerial imagery can be delivered within 24 hours. Depending on your service, it can take up to 14 days, and we automatically apply our "Patience Discount" of 20% to any client who waits longer than 14 days.²
Can I use SOS for security at an event?
Yes, we provide event security.³ Send us a message and let us know the parameters of your event, including details like type of event, location, time/date, expected number of attendees, will there be alcholol, and if you want drones used.
Does SOS provide service outside of the State of Texas?
At this time, SOS only provides service within the State of Texas, with plans for expansion in 2028
Does SOS provide refunds?
Yes. Although, we provide unlimited revisions until you're happy on all drone imagery, all refunds incur a 50% after service has been scheduled.⁴
I've never used SOS, how safe is it?
Due to the nature of our work, we are highly trained and heavily compliant with standards and laws across the state.⁵ Our copmany and employees are properly licensed, highly trained, and compliant. Each member of our team undergoes a full background check and are required to go thorugh bi-annual re-licensing, including new background checks
*¹Our website does not currently display all services we provide with drones. If you have questions, please asks, we are able to support a variety of projects. ²Our "Patience Discount" is automatically added to all invoices for drone services that take longer than 14 business days to deliver complete. ³SOS only provides level frour security services and consultation. Services include licensed professionals with training beyond compliance. All security services provided by SOS incur an insurance fee to protect the company and the client. ⁴ A fee of 50% of the service total will be charged to any cancellations and refunds. No shows are not liable for refunds (No shows include cancellations within 24 hours). ⁵ Licensing within SOS comes from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Aviation Administration. Our staff all undergo training with SOS Academy and our pilots receive additional trianing from the Pilot Institute. All SOS services are insured.
